Description

The symmetrical aluminum Petzl OK carabiner has an oval shape that allows optimal positioning of equipment with a wide section. Many pulleys need an oval-shaped carabiner to work properly. The Petzl OK carabiner is designed for just that. It is also very useful for ascenders, anchor set ups and belays.

My favourite 'biner

My favourite everything carabiner, I use it primarily for belaying and rapping because the oval shape does a pretty good job of preventing cross loading and the tri-lock gate gives me confidence that it won't rattle open on long descents. Unlike other belay specific carabiners, it's versatile and adaptable so I've now got a few in my rack. The mechanism isn't super easy to open with one hand but overall I dig it.

Great oval Triacts!

Ordered in a half dozen of these as a special order through Walltoys. Delivered promptly and at a good price. I've now got 8 or so of these in my kit and love them. super reliable tri-action gate.
